Repeals and replaces Section 115.369 of Missouri Revised Statutes regarding the nomination of candidates for special elections.

Requires the Secretary of State or election authority to notify the nominating committee chair within 24 hours of learning of a vacancy, with fallback notification procedures for the vice chair, other committee members, or county committee chair if the chair cannot be reached.

Mandates the nominating committee chair call a meeting within two weeks of notification to select a candidate, with the meeting held in the area the candidate will represent; allows any committee member to call the meeting if the chair fails to do so.

For vacancies under specific circumstances in Section 115.363(5), requires the nominating committee to select a candidate within a two-week period with newspaper notice published in the area, and mandates that final vote results be notarized and included in the certification.
