Requires all health carriers and health benefit plans delivered, issued, continued, or renewed in Missouri on or after January 1, 2014, to provide coverage for diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders.

Prohibits health carriers from denying eligibility, denying coverage for medically necessary eating disorder treatment (including residential treatment), or denying renewal coverage based on previous eating disorder diagnosis or treatment.

Requires coverage to include psychiatric and medical treatment, nutrition counseling, physical therapy, dietician services, medical monitoring, and psychiatric monitoring as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

Prohibits health carriers from penalizing or reducing provider reimbursement for treating eating disorders or providing financial incentives to providers to deliver care inconsistent with these requirements.

Applies the same deductible and co-payment requirements to eating disorder treatment as other health care services, and excludes supplemental insurance policies from these requirements.
