Requires the oversight division of the joint committee on legislative research to conduct an actuarial analysis beginning September 1, 2013, on the cost impact of mandating health insurance coverage for eating disorder diagnosis and treatment.

Analysis must cover eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating, eating disorders nonspecified, and other severe eating disorders listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Assumes coverage includes residential treatment for eating disorders when medically necessary and integrated care services such as psychological services, nutrition counseling, physical therapy, dietician services, and psychiatric monitoring.

Requires the analysis to assume eating disorder coverage has no greater deductibles or co-payments than other health care services and does not apply to supplemental insurance policies.

Director must submit the actuarial report by December 31, 2013, to legislative leadership and relevant House and Senate committees, with analysis cost not to exceed $30,000.
