Property owners' associations cannot enforce or adopt covenants prohibiting political candidate or ballot item signs displayed between 90 days before an election and 10 days after the election date

Associations may still require political signs to be ground-mounted and limit property owners to displaying only one sign per candidate or ballot item

Associations may prohibit signs that contain roofing material, balloons, lights, are attached to plants or vehicles, include painted surfaces, threaten public health or safety, exceed 4 feet by 4 feet, violate laws, contain offensive language or graphics, or are accompanied by distracting music or streamers

Property owners' associations retain the right to remove signs that violate permitted restrictive covenants
