Defines "natural born citizen" as having been declared a national and citizen of the United States at birth under 8 U.S.C. Sections 1401-1409, as amended, or under federal law as it existed at the time of the nominee's birth.

Mandates that the secretary of state maintain all submitted birth evidence as public records under chapter 610, with the burden of proof lying solely upon each nominee.

Renders any candidate ineligible to file as a write-in candidate for president or vice president if their party fails to provide the required certification.

Applies the same natural born citizen proof requirements to candidates seeking inclusion on the presidential primary ballot, requiring submission with their written request to appear on the ballot.
