Defines a "high capacity firearm magazine" as a compartment holding ten or more rounds of ammunition.

Makes it a class D felony to knowingly possess, own, use, manufacture, purchase, or sell a high capacity firearm magazine.

Exempts high capacity firearm magazines possessed prior to August 28, 2013 from prosecution, though other violations of the section may still be prosecuted.

Exempts law enforcement officers from the prohibition when their possession, ownership, use, manufacture, purchase, or sale occurs in the performance of official duties.
