Repeals sections 327.312, 327.313, and 327.314 and enacts four new sections (327.312, 327.313, 327.314, and 327.315) relating to land surveyor licensing requirements.

Establishes three pathways for enrollment as a land surveyor-in-training: (1) baccalaureate degree with at least 12 semester hours of surveying courses including 2 hours in legal aspects; (2) 60+ college hours with 20+ semester hours of surveying including 2 hours in legal aspects plus 1 year of supervised field/office experience; or (3) 12+ semester hours of surveying including 2 hours in legal aspects plus 2 years of supervised experience.

Requires applicants to submit prescribed application forms with education and experience information, three letters of reference (one from a professional land surveyor), and required fees, all made under oath.

Requires 4 years of satisfactory professional field and office experience under immediate supervision of a professional land surveyor to become a licensed professional land surveyor, with up to half of this experience potentially overlapping with other professional requirements.

Creates new section 327.315 effective January 1, 2018, establishing higher education requirements (30+ semester hours of surveying including 6 hours in legal aspects) for land surveyor-in-training enrollment, with one provision expiring January 1, 2022.
