Repeals and replaces section 107.170, RSMo, relating to contractor bonds for public works contracts

Excludes public housing authorities acting in compliance with United States Department of Housing and Urban Development policies and regulations from the definition of "public entity"

Maintains requirement that public entities demand contractors furnish performance bonds for public works projects exceeding $25,000

Bonds must cover payment for materials, labor, insurance premiums, and all subcontractor work related to the construction project

Provides liability protection for public entity officers and employees acting in good faith under this section
