Urges the federal government to continue reimbursing states for Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments for states that have not implemented Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act.

Notes that Missouri hospitals provided $1.1 billion in uncompensated care in 2011 and face estimated cuts of $3.3 billion in Medicaid and Medicare payments from 2013 to 2020, including approximately $704 million in DSH cuts from 2013 to 2019.

Points out that federal DSH payment cuts of more than $22 billion nationwide from 2014 to 2022 are set to occur regardless of whether states implement Medicaid expansion, which the U.S. Supreme Court found to be optional.

Directs Governor Nixon to work with the federal government to prevent the reduction of DSH payments to Missouri.

Instructs the House Chief Clerk to send an inscribed copy of the resolution to federal officials, the Missouri Congressional delegation, and Governor Nixon.
