Repeals and reenacts Missouri Revised Statutes section 573.037 to restructure penalties for possession of child pornography.

Possession of one still image of child pornography or one obscene still image constitutes a class C felony.

Possession of more than twenty still images of child pornography or obscene still images, or any motion picture/video content constitutes a class B felony.

Prior conviction or guilty plea for a child pornography offense elevates the charge to a class B felony.

Allows separate punishments for each individual item of child pornography or obscene material possessed.
