Requires the Department of Health and Senior Services to include methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella (CRK), and vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE) in its list of reportable communicable or infectious diseases.

Mandates all laboratories performing culture and sensitivity testing on humans in Missouri to submit data on health care associated infections to the department, with data to be defined by departmental regulation after consulting an infection control advisory panel.

Requires hospitals to report weekly to the department on the number of persons placed in isolation due to infection, with the department developing public reports compiled over twenty-four months and updated quarterly on its website.

Delays the initial report deadline from December 31, 2006 to December 31, 2013 for risk-adjusted nosocomial infection incidence rates by hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers.

Requires the department to report only data submitted directly to the department on its website, excluding data submitted to the federal government or other outside resources.
