Senate Bill No. 66 Summary

• Repeals sections 21.800, 21.830, 21.910, 301.129, 620.602, and 630.461 of Missouri Revised Statutes, eliminating six committees that had expired or completed their mandated duties.

• Eliminates the Joint Committee on Terrorism, Bioterrorism, and Homeland Security (expired December 31, 2011).

• Eliminates the Joint Committee on Missouri's Energy Future (expired December 31, 2009).

• Eliminates the Joint Committee on the Reduction and Reorganization of Programs within State Government (expired January 1, 2011) and the Joint Committee on Economic Development Policy and Planning (expired July 1, 2010).

• Eliminates an advisory committee for motor vehicle license plate design for the Department of Revenue (dissolved upon completion of duties) and the Review Committee for Purchasing in the Department of Mental Health (disbanded January 1, 1996).
