Prohibits former state senators and state representatives elected on or after January 1, 2014, from acting as lobbyists, registering as lobbyists, or soliciting lobbying clients for ten years after leaving office and until they no longer maintain a candidate committee for any office.

Maintains existing prohibitions on elected officials from performing services for the state for compensation beyond official duties, selling or leasing property to the state above certain thresholds ($500 per transaction or $1,500 annually), or attempting to influence state agency decisions for compensation.

Prohibits officials and their business entities (sole proprietorships, partnerships, joint ventures, or corporations where they hold more than 10 percent ownership) from engaging in restricted transactions with the state above specified dollar thresholds unless made through competitive bidding processes.

Criminalizes offering paid employment to elected officials in exchange for their official votes on public matters as bribery of a public servant.

Criminalizes acceptance of such offers by elected officials as acceding to corruption.
