Changes the notification requirement for nursing home administrator license renewals from mailing an application to notifying licensees by April first of each year.

Nursing home administrator licenses expire on June 30th of every other year following issuance, with a one-time exception for 2006 licenses.

Licensees must submit renewal applications during May of their renewal year with evidence of completion of approved continuing education hours and payment of renewal fees.

Board must grant a 30-day temporary permit for incomplete renewal applications, extendable for an additional 30 days for good cause shown.

Licensees who fail to renew by June 30th may be relicensed upon payment of renewal fee plus a $25 penalty, with no additional action if the license has not expired more than two months and no board action has occurred in the prior five years.
