Acknowledges legal immigrants as important economic contributors and workers, urging Missouri policies that reaffirm the state's reputation as welcoming and business-friendly.

Opposes policies that unnecessarily separate families and champions policies supporting families and improving health, education, and well-being of Missouri children.

Urges Missouri's congressional delegation to strengthen federal laws and protect national borders while encouraging state leaders to adopt reasonable policies addressing immigrants that improve the immigration system and keep communities safe.

Directs the Missouri Senate Secretary to send inscribed copies of the resolution to each member of the Missouri Congressional delegation and Governor Jay Nixon.
