Urges the federal government to continue reimbursing states for Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments for states that have not implemented Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act

Requests that Governor Nixon work with the federal government to prevent the reduction of DSH payments to Missouri hospitals

Notes that Missouri hospitals provided $1.1 billion in uncompensated care in 2011 and face estimated cuts of $704 million in DSH payments from 2013 to 2019

Highlights that the federal government is required to reduce more than $22 billion in DSH payments nationally from 2014 to 2022, with Missouri facing $3.3 billion in combined Medicaid and Medicare hospital payment cuts from 2013 to 2020

Directs the Missouri Senate Secretary to send inscribed copies of the resolution to the President, Congress, Department of Health and Human Services, Missouri's Congressional delegation, and Governor Nixon
