Members of the General Assembly and statewide elected officials who first take office on or after January 1, 2015, are ineligible for special legislative retirement benefits and instead receive standard Missouri state employee retirement coverage.

Cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) for current retirees match pay increases for their respective offices and cannot decrease below zero.
