Mothers may breastfeed or express breast milk in any public or private location where they are otherwise authorized to be, with as much discretion as possible.

Breastfeeding or expressing breast milk shall not constitute sexual conduct, public indecency, indecent exposure, or obscenity under state or municipal law.

Municipalities are prohibited from enacting ordinances that restrict or prohibit mothers from breastfeeding or expressing breast milk in authorized locations.

Nursing mothers may be excused from jury service upon request and submission of a written physician's statement certifying they are a nursing mother.

Jury service excusal categories are reorganized to include: prior jury service within two years, nursing mothers, absence affecting public safety/health/welfare, undue physical or financial hardship, licensed health care providers, and religious institution employees with religious constraints.
