Active duty military personnel and activated or temporarily mobilized reservists or guard members stationed in Missouri and residing in the state receive in-state tuition status at all approved public four-year institutions and in-state, in-district tuition at approved two-year institutions.

Eligible military personnel receive the same educational benefits as other in-state tuition students while continuously enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programs, including when transferring between Missouri institutions or from undergraduate to graduate programs.

"Approved public institution" is defined using the same meaning provided in section 173.1102 of Missouri law.

The Coordinating Board for Higher Education shall promulgate rules to implement the section under chapter 536 rulemaking authority.
