Allows employers to offer employees the option to accrue compensatory leave time on an hour-for-hour basis instead of receiving overtime wages, provided the employee agrees in writing and is required to file a Missouri tax return

Maintains the standard requirement that employees receive compensation at a rate of at least one and one-half times their regular rate for hours worked over 40 per week, except where the compensatory leave alternative is offered

Requires employees of amusement or recreation businesses meeting federal criteria to be paid one and one-half times their regular compensation for any hours worked in excess of 52 hours in a one-week period

Exempts employees who are exempt from federal minimum wage or overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act from Missouri's overtime requirements

Directs interpretation of the statute to align with the Fair Labor Standards Act and Portal to Portal Act, as amended
