Repeals and replaces section 194.255, RSMo, establishing rules for how anatomical gifts are distributed based on the type of organ or tissue and the stated purpose.

Allows anatomical gifts to be made to hospitals, medical schools, organ procurement organizations, individual designated recipients, eye banks, and tissue banks.

If a gift to an individual recipient cannot be transplanted, it passes to appropriate organizations in the absence of contrary instructions.

Establishes that when no specific recipient is named, gifts for transplantation or therapy pass to the appropriate eye bank, tissue bank, or organ procurement organization based on the part type.

Specifies that medically unsuitable gifts may be used for research or education and passed to appropriate procurement organizations.
