MO HB1813

Creates the "Missouri Youth Funds Legislative Oversight Committee" consisting of 3 House members appointed by the Speaker and 3 Senate members appointed by the President Pro Tempore, with no more than 2 members from each chamber from the same political party.

Requires all youth funds in the state to be audited annually, with audits submitted to the committee.

Mandates committee members to report to the Governor, President Pro Tempore, and Speaker of the House on youth fund activities by October 1st each year.

Requires boards of directors of all youth funds to provide the committee with information necessary for its annual report and directs the committee to determine best practices for youth programs and analyze state funding needs.

Committee members receive no additional compensation beyond their legislative salary but are reimbursed for necessary expenses while attending committee meetings.
