Repeals and reenacts section 161.094, RSMo, to modify requirements for high school equivalency examinations administered by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

Requires both computerized and non-computerized testing options be available at no additional cost to applicants, with examinations offered at least twice yearly at convenient locations

Prohibits the department from using high school equivalency examinations aligned with Common Core standards unless no other alternative is readily available

Requires the department to administer individualized tests for applicants with documented mental health conditions affecting learning or learning disabilities to prevent discrimination
