Repeals and replaces five sections of Missouri law relating to academic performance standards, assessments, and school accreditation.

Caps state academic performance standards at no more than 75 standards and prohibits the state board of education from implementing, adopting, or taking any action relating to common core standards.

Prohibits school districts and open-enrollment charter schools from adopting common core standards or curricular frameworks derived from common core state standards and from accepting public or private money for common core materials.

Declares any actions taken by the state board of education prior to August 28, 2014 that violated the common core prohibitions to be null and void.

Allows individual school districts to determine targeted priorities, plans of action, resource needs, and evaluation criteria for school accreditation rather than applying uniform state requirements.
