Preserves existing exemptions for household items (up to $3,000), jewelry, vehicles (up to $3,000), life insurance, Social Security benefits, and retirement plans qualified under federal tax code sections 401(a), 403(a), 403(b), 408, 408A, or 409

Maintains that child support and maintenance claims are not subject to exemptions, including claims against retirement accounts and security deposits

Repeals and replaces Missouri Revised Statutes section 513.430 governing property exempt from attachment and execution
