Jackson County Circuit Court shall establish the "Armed Offender Docket Pilot Project" with dedicated judges and personnel for all matters related to charges under chapter 571 and section 569.020 (first degree robbery and firearms offenses).

Circuit court may impose a $30 surcharge per criminal case assigned to the armed offender docket, with funds used solely for prosecution costs, pretrial supervision, and statistical analysis of such cases.

Presiding judge, prosecuting attorney, and law enforcement agencies must coordinate and share court and law enforcement data including pretrial detention/release decisions, bond amounts, case dismissals, plea agreements, sentences, jury verdicts, and probation revocations.

Circuit court shall publish annual public reports within six months of each anniversary detailing armed offender docket operations, with commentary from research universities and law enforcement agencies.

Pilot project expires December 31, 2020.
