Establishes a House Interim Committee on Educational Technology Improvement composed of 10 members: 6 majority party members appointed by the Speaker of the House and 4 minority party members appointed by the Minority Leader.

Committee shall identify educational technology uses in elementary and secondary education that demonstrate improved student outcomes and determine educational environments where instruction could be improved through professional development, infrastructure investment, or cooperative programs linking postsecondary institutions to K-12 schools.

Committee is authorized to make recommendations about eliminating barriers, prioritizing funding, and changes to policy including statute, regulation, or guidance related to educational technology.

Committee is authorized to hold hearings and solicit necessary input or information; House Research and Joint Committee on Legislative Research shall provide legal, research, clerical, technical, and bill drafting support.

Committee shall operate during the interim between the Second Regular Session of the 97th General Assembly and the First Regular Session of the 98th General Assembly, with findings and recommendations due to the General Assembly by December 31, 2014.
