Mandates that women be offered an ultrasound at least 72 hours before the procedure, with the opportunity to view the image and hear the fetal heartbeat if audible.

Requires printed materials describing fetal development at two-week intervals with color photographs, information on abortion methods and risks, and details about available support services and alternatives to abortion.

For abortions at 22 weeks gestational age or older, requires women be informed about fetal pain and offered the option to have anesthesia or analgesics administered to the unborn child.
