Repeals sections 327.312, 327.313, and 327.314 and enacts four new sections (327.312, 327.313, 327.314, 327.315) relating to land surveyor qualifications and enrollment requirements.

Creates two separate pathways for land surveyor-in-training enrollment: Section 327.312 (sunset December 31, 2018) with lower education requirements (12 semester hours surveying coursework) and Section 327.315 (effective January 1, 2019) with higher education requirements (30 semester hours of approved coursework).

Requires applicants to be at least 21 years old, of good moral character, and high school graduates or GED holders, with either a baccalaureate degree, 60+ college credits, or 12-30 semester hours of surveying coursework plus relevant professional experience.

Mandates at least 2-6 semester hours of coursework in legal aspects of boundary surveying depending on the enrollment pathway selected.

Allows up to one year of satisfactory postsecondary education to count as equivalent years of professional land surveying work experience under the sunset provisions.
