Amends Missouri law to require health benefit plans to provide coverage for diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other severe eating disorders listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Mandates coverage for multiple treatment modalities including inpatient hospitalization, residential care, intensive outpatient treatment, psychiatric care, psychological care, nutritional care provided by licensed dietitians, therapy, and medications prescribed by licensed physicians.

Prohibits medical necessity determinations from being based solely on patient weight or weight level; instead requires consideration of overall medical and psychological needs in accordance with American Psychiatric Association Practice Guidelines.

Limits health carrier treatment plan reviews to no more than once every six months unless the carrier and treating provider agree more frequent review is necessary, with all review costs borne by the health plan.

Requires the Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration to submit annual reports to the general assembly from June 1, 2016 through 2021 detailing the number of insured individuals with eating disorders, total claims costs, and average costs per insured.
