Repeals and replaces section 194.255, RSMo, to clarify procedures for anatomical gifts of organs, tissues, and eyes.

Specifies that anatomical gifts may be made to hospitals, medical schools, organ procurement organizations, eye banks, tissue banks, or a designated individual recipient.

Establishes rules for directing gifts based on stated purpose: gifts for transplantation or therapy pass to appropriate banks or procurement organizations; gifts for research or education pass to procurement organizations.

Provides that when multiple purposes are listed without priority, gifts must be used for transplantation or therapy if suitable, otherwise may be used for research or education.

Corrects a typographical error changing "transportation" to "transplantation" in the section addressing medically unsuitable gifts.
