Repeals and reenacts section 490.715, RSMo to change how medical treatment costs are presented as evidence in civil cases.

Changes the standard from "value" to "cost" of medical treatment rendered or to be rendered, limiting evidence to actual dollar amounts paid or projected to be paid.

Prohibits jury from learning the identity or nature of collateral sources (insurers, etc.) that have made or are making payments for damages.

Requires medical treatment cost evidence be presented in terms of past or projected actual cost only, without reference to gross charges.

Maintains restrictions on collateral source evidence while allowing defendants to introduce evidence of third-party payments if they waive the right to credit against judgment under section 490.710.
