General Assembly members first serving on or after January 1, 2015, are ineligible for retirement benefits based on their service in the legislature and cannot accrue additional benefits while serving.

General Assembly members first serving on or after January 1, 2015, must pay 100 percent of health insurance premiums without state contribution and receive no state contributions toward retiree health insurance.

General Assembly members first serving on or after January 1, 2015, are not provided life insurance benefits based on legislative service, but may purchase coverage at their own full expense.

General Assembly members first serving on or after January 1, 2015, are not provided disability income benefits based on legislative service, but may purchase disability insurance at their own full expense.

Retirees who first serve in the General Assembly on or after January 1, 2015, shall not receive annuity payments for any month in which they are actively serving as members.
