MO SCR35

Creates a Joint Committee on Missouri's Energy Future and Fuel Sources composed of 5 Senate members and 5 House members, with no more than 3 members of either chamber from one party.

Committee shall investigate and make recommendations on solar energy, propane supply shortages, hydropower, natural gas and fracking, biofuels and food prices, battery storage technology, and alternative transportation fuels and infrastructure.

Committee authorized to request assistance from any state department, office, division, or agency in gathering information for its investigation.

Committee must hold at least 5 meetings at specified locations: Kansas City, Hannibal, Saint Louis, Poplar Bluff, and Lake of the Ozarks.

Committee shall terminate by December 31, 2014, or by majority vote for earlier termination, and must deliver a final report of findings and recommendations to the General Assembly upon termination.
