Filing fees for fire protection district board of directors candidates increased from $10 to the amount required for county office candidates under section 115.357

Simplifies director qualifications by removing separate provisions for districts in first class counties, third/fourth classification counties, and first board elections

Eliminates the previous $5 filing fee for first board of directors candidates in newly proposed districts

Standardizes that all director candidates must be residents and voters of the district for at least one year and be over age 25

Amends sections 321.130 and 321.210 of Missouri Revised Statutes
