Adds fourth classification cities with 1,050-1,200 inhabitants in first classification counties with 92,000-101,000 inhabitants to the list of jurisdictions authorized to impose transient guest taxes (targeting the City of Archie in Cass County)

Authorized tax rate remains 2-5% on charges for sleeping rooms at hotels, motels, bed and breakfast inns, campgrounds, and boat docking facilities used for transient sleeping

Tax requires voter approval at a state general, primary, or special election before it can be imposed

Revenue must be used solely for funding tourism promotion and must be stated separately from other charges and taxes
