Extends the deadline for retired school employees to nominate a successor beneficiary after remarriage from 90 days to one year following the remarriage

Allows retired members who elected a reduced retirement allowance with their spouse as beneficiary to have their benefits increased to the full Option 1 amount if their marriage is dissolved on or after September 1, 2015

Requires the dissolution decree to provide sole retention of all retirement allowance rights to the retired person for the benefit increase to apply

Applies to both the Public School Retirement System (sections 169.010-169.140) and the Public Education Employee Retirement System (sections 169.600-169.715)
