Department of Economic Development administers the fund through a 3-5 member committee that reviews and awards broadband infrastructure development grants

Maximum grant amount is $150,000, with each of the 19 regional planning commission areas limited to two grants annually

Matching fund ratios vary by applicant experience: groups operating 2+ years receive $3 state match per $1 raised; newer groups receive $1:$1 match

Groups are disqualified if their region includes areas outside Missouri or if they have operating budgets exceeding $250,000
