Allows sellers to advertise or state that sales tax will be assumed or absorbed by the business, removing the previous prohibition on this practice

Requires sellers who absorb sales tax to state the amount of tax assumed or absorbed on any invoice or receipt

Removes the prohibition on advertising that sales tax will not be separately stated or that any portion will be refunded

Exempts retailers prohibited from collecting sales tax under section 66.630 from these advertising requirements

Violations of the advertising provisions remain classified as a misdemeanor
