Prohibits educational institutions from requiring students or prospective students to disclose login credentials for personal social media accounts, or from forcing them to access accounts in the presence of school personnel

Protects employees and students from retaliation, discipline, or denial of admission/employment for refusing to disclose personal account information

Allows employers to access credentials for employer-provided devices, employer accounts, and accounts used for business purposes; permits schools to request specific content during investigations of harassment, bullying, or regulatory compliance

Students and prospective students may bring civil lawsuits for damages against educational institutions that violate these provisions
