Individual contributions to candidate committees for statewide offices (governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, treasurer, auditor, attorney general), state legislators, and judicial offices are capped at $2,600 per person during the pre-primary election period

No contribution limits apply from primary election day until 30 days after the general election

The contribution limits become effective 30 days after the November 2016 general election

Missouri Ethics Commission is required to promulgate rules implementing these limits, including potential additional reporting and disclosure requirements for campaign contributions

Any rules adopted under this section are invalid if the General Assembly's powers under Chapter 536 to review or annul rules are held unconstitutional
