Contributions exceeding $5,000 from any single contributor must be electronically reported to the Missouri Ethics Commission within 48 hours

State representatives, state senators, and candidates for those offices must report contributions over $500 within 48 hours during the regular legislative session

Statewide officeholders (governor, lieutenant governor, treasurer, attorney general, secretary of state, auditor) and candidates must report contributions over $500 within 48 hours during the legislative session or while legislation awaits gubernatorial action

Reports must contain the same content required under existing disclosure law (section 130.041) and follow commission standards for electronic filing

Repeals two prior versions of section 130.044 enacted by SB 844 (95th GA) and SB 1038 (94th GA) and consolidates them into one new section
