Public schools participating in Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) activities must allow home school students residing in their attendance area to participate on the same basis as enrolled students

Home school students must follow all school policies applicable to enrolled students, including registration, age eligibility, fees, insurance, transportation, physical condition, and standards of behavior

Home school instructors must submit written verification that the student is receiving passing grades and making satisfactory academic progress as a condition of participation

Students who were enrolled in public school earlier in the same school year cannot participate in MSHSAA activities as home school students for the remainder of that year

MSHSAA is prohibited from blocking home school student participation as authorized under this section
