Employees injured on the job may select their own physician, surgeon, or health care provider at the employer's expense, removing the previous requirement that employee-selected providers be paid for by the employee

For physical rehabilitation services, employers or insurers may select qualified physicians, facilities, or institutions only if the employee does not make a selection

Injured employees residing outside Missouri but employed by Missouri employers may choose to receive medical services within 100 miles of their residence, place of injury, or place of hire
