Adds a definition of "financial institution" to Missouri's theft statute (Section 570.010), meaning a bank, trust company, savings and loan association, or credit union

Creates a new class B felony for stealing property owned by or in the custody of a financial institution when the property is physically taken or attempted to be taken from an individual person

Applies to both completed thefts and attempts to deprive the owner or custodian of the property

Repeals and replaces existing sections 570.010 and 570.030 from previous legislative sessions to incorporate these changes
