Camping or fifth-wheel trailers over 25 years old may be permanently registered for a one-time fee of $25

Upon transfer of title, the registration is canceled and license plates must be returned to the director of revenue

Owners may use original Missouri license plates from the same year as the trailer's manufacture as "historic trailer plates," provided the plate number configuration is not already in use

Historic trailer plates are exempt from standard reflective material and color scheme requirements under section 301.130

Certificate of registration must be kept in the trailer at all times and serves as prima facie evidence of proper registration and fee payment
