Retail stores (drug stores, grocery stores, tobacco stores, general merchandise stores, delicatessens) selling packaged liquor for off-premises consumption would be restricted to sales between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and prohibited from sales between 10:00 p.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Monday

Retail stores may apply for a special Sunday license to sell packaged liquor between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., with a $200 annual state fee and up to $300 additional city/county fee

Tax-exempt charitable, fraternal, religious, service, and veterans' organizations (501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), 501(c)(7), 501(c)(19), etc.) would become eligible for special permits allowing extended hours until 3:00 a.m. in designated convention trade areas

Malt liquor permit holders selling in original packages could sell on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (changed from midnight)

Violations of the restricted hours provisions constitute a Class A misdemeanor
