Adds requirement that when an advanced practice registered nurse diagnoses or initiates treatment for acutely or chronically ill patients, the collaborating physician must be available in person or electronically for consultation

Requires the advanced practice registered nurse to provide written or electronic reports of patient encounters to the patient's primary care provider within 14 days, or provide a list of accepting primary care physicians if the patient lacks one

Mandates collaborating physician review of all charts for patients seen by an advanced practice registered nurse for chronic illness

Removes the fixed one-month minimum supervision requirement, allowing collaborating physicians sole discretion to determine the appropriate length of time an advanced practice registered nurse must practice with the physician present before practicing independently
