Amends Section 116.190, RSMo governing legal challenges to official ballot titles and fiscal notes for constitutional amendments, initiatives, and referendums filed in Cole County Circuit Court

Adds a new requirement that challenges must be filed more than 56 days prior to the election in which the measure is scheduled to appear on the ballot

Maintains the existing 180-day deadline for full and final adjudication of challenges, including all appeals, or the action is automatically extinguished

Courts may extend the deadline only upon finding "good cause," which is limited to court-related scheduling issues and excludes continuance requests by the parties
