Hospitals and health care providers receiving MO HealthNet funding are prohibited from refusing to contract with or provide services to the Department of Corrections or its contractors for incarcerated individuals

Reimbursement for health care services to inmates is capped at 100% of the MO HealthNet or federal Medicare rate, whichever is greater, covering inpatient, outpatient services, goods, and prescription drugs

Attorney General must seek injunctive relief against non-compliant providers at the Department of Corrections' request, with attorney fees awarded to the state if the court rules in the state's favor

All cost savings resulting from these provisions go to the state, not to health care services contractors
